Second Annual
Warm Hearts Warm Hands After a tremendously successful first year campaign with
over 2,000 items collected for the
2006 Warm Hearts Warm Hands Campaign you are invited to make a difference again
this year. Last year, your donations helped children at
schools and agencies throughout the council and left some school secretaries in
tears of joy. We have seen children wear coats with sleeves half way up their arms because the coats
are too small or held together
with duct tape. These children are
from families that are unable to provide for them. Please help by collecting new or gently used Ideas for collecting the items are... 1. Look
through your families’ closet to see what can be donated with permission. 2. As
a troop or service unit knit or create no-sew gloves, scarves, and hats. 3. Ask
your school or community business if you can place a donation box at their
location. 4. Create
a service unit or school “Warm Hearts-Warm Hands” clothing drive event. We will be accepting donations at the council office, during regular business
hours, Monday, October 1 – Monday, November 19, 2007. In
addition we will have drop off sites for areas outside Green Bay.

An optional Warm Hearts-Warm Hands patch is available for those who
participate in this campaign . Our goal is to get desperately needed
