Girl Scouts of Lac Baie Council Family Partnership

Q: What is the annual Family Partnership Campaign?
A: A fundraising effort that coincides with Girl Scout registration.  The campaign asks for contributions to Girl Scouts of Lac Baie Council from the family of our girl members.

Q: Why should I participate?
A: Giving to the annual Family Partnership Campaign demonstrates your support of your Girl Scout.  In addition, outside funding sources like to know how our members are supporting the Girl Scout Movement.

Q: How much should I give?
A: How much to donate is a personal decision. We ask that each family gives as much as they can.  Any dollar amount is appreciated.  Troops averaging $50 or more, receive a 20% rebate to be used towards troop expenses.

Q: Where does the money go?
A: 100% of all contributions go to Girl Scouts of Lac Baie Council and supports all Girl Scout troops and/or groups.  Nearly 80% goes directly to support council program activities, leader training, recruitment and resource development.

Q: Why does the Council need money?
A: The council is a non-profit 501(c )(3) organization that depends on public support. It costs the council over $216.90 a year to serve one girl. We have 5,000 girls in our council.
